Frequently asked questions
Short answers. The help center has the step by step. Help
What is Bordity?
A personal finance app for people with money in more than one currency. You keep each account in its own currency and see one net worth, cash flow and history in the currency you choose.
Which currencies are supported?
Around 170 currencies, plus Bitcoin and Ether. Each account has one currency, and you can mix as many accounts and currencies as you like.
Where do exchange rates come from?
Bordity updates reference rates once a day. Totals and charts use the rate of each day, so last year’s balances are converted with last year’s rates, not today’s.
Does Bordity connect to my bank?
No. You add transactions by hand or import statement files with AI. That keeps your bank credentials out of Bordity entirely and works with any bank in any country.
Which files can I import?
CSV, TSV, Excel (.xlsx), PDF statements and photos or screenshots (PNG, JPG, WebP), up to 10 MB each. You review every row before it is saved.
Can I track investments and property?
Yes, by value. Investment, crypto, property and vehicle accounts keep a balance that you update when you want. Bordity does not follow individual stocks or prices.
How are transfers between my own accounts handled?
As transfers, not spending. You record the amount that left and the amount that arrived, each in its currency, and Bordity keeps the rate you actually got.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free includes 3 accounts and 5 AI imports a month, with no time limit. Plus costs $6.99 a month or $59 a year for unlimited accounts.
Is Bordity a budgeting app?
Not first. It tracks what you have and where money went, with categories and monthly totals. Budgets are not part of Bordity today.
Does Bordity do taxes or annual reports?
Not yet. A Pro plan with an annual report of accounts and assets abroad is planned. Today Bordity covers money management only.
Which languages does Bordity speak?
English, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese, in the app and on this site.
How do I delete my data?
Settings → Data in the app. Export first if you want a copy; deleting the account removes your data and cancels any subscription.
