How Bordity protects your money data
Financial data deserves plain answers. Here is what we keep, what we never ask for, and what you can do with your data at any time.
We never connect to your bank
Bordity does not link to banks and never asks for bank usernames, passwords or access tokens. Everything in Bordity comes from what you type or the files you choose to import. There is nothing that could move money from your accounts.
No passwords
You sign in with Google or with a six-digit code sent to your email. Codes expire after 10 minutes and work once. There is no Bordity password to reuse, forget or leak.
What we store
Your accounts (name, kind, currency and balances), your transactions, categories and tags, your settings, and your email address. Billing details stay with Stripe; we keep only your plan and its status.
Statement files are deleted after reading
When you import a statement, the file is read once to extract its transactions and is then deleted from our servers. Only the rows you choose to keep are saved. To read the file, its contents are processed by our AI provider under terms that do not allow it to be used to train their models.
In transit and at rest
Every connection to bordity.com, the app and the API uses HTTPS. The database runs on a managed cloud provider with encrypted storage and automatic backups. Access to production systems is limited to the people who operate Bordity.
Your data, your call
Export your transactions as a CSV file whenever you want. You can delete your account from Settings; it removes your data and cancels any subscription. We do not sell data and do not show ads.
Report a problem
If you believe you found a security issue, write to contact@bordity.com. We reply quickly and credit people who report responsibly.
