Your base currency

The base currency is the one Bordity uses for your net worth and totals. Learn how to choose it and change it.

Steps

  1. Open settings

    In the app, go to Settings → Workspace.

  2. Pick a currency

    Choose a new base currency from the list and save.

What it changes

Net worth, charts, monthly income and spending, and the converted value next to each account. Balances and transactions keep their own currencies; nothing is rewritten.

Which one to choose

Usually the currency you plan in: where you live, where you will retire, or the one you earn in. If you are unsure, US dollars make a neutral reference.
